Central Oregon Locavore is an aggregator of local merchants and an online marketplace of locally-grown and locally-produced products. Basically, we are a one-stop locals shopping site, kind of like a traditional grocery store, only we are online, and all of our products are local. We support the local economy by providing local produce, locally raised grass-fed meats and all kinds of different foods and products that are made right here in Central Oregon by local people like you and me. |
Ordering local food and local products from Central Oregon Locavore helps to build and support our community and local businesses, while saving you the time it would take you to drive all over town and find these local products on your own. Fresh local produce, local, humanely-raised grass-fed meats, fresh-baked breads, locally-made chocolates, locally-roasted coffees, hand-made teas, local kombucha, locally-distributed seafood, local artisan cheeses and locally grown plant starts are just a few of the things available right now. We're growing really fast and so is our product list. Please check the website weekly for new items. Current members may also take advantage of the Central Oregon Locavore drop-site for Azure Standard, an Oregon-based natural and organic foods distribution company that grows many of their own organic grains and legumes, and delivers to the Central Oregon area once a month. Step 1 - Browse the site and place the items you would like to purchase in your "shopping cart". (Its just like any other online shopping cart).
Step 2 - Check out using our secure online payment process (credit card payment only, we are working on accepting Oregon Trail Cards soon).
Step 3 - You can then come and pick up your order on the soonest order pick-up day at the Central Oregon Locavore location on the Westside of Bend. The order pick-up days are every other Thursday from 4-6:30pm (see top of page for date of next order pick-up). Eventually we will move to order pick-ups every Thursday. We will send you a reminder to come get your order on the morning of the pick-up day.
